After months of rain and dismal, grey skies, spring is finally making an appearance in Washington! I haven't gotten much of a chance to get out and enjoy the sun this week, due to school and play rehearsals, but I finally took a trip to the park today. It was so sunny (and it still is as I write this), and a great deal warmer than the past few months. I just love Daylight Savings Time, who doesn't enjoy the extra hours of sun?
Speaking of school, I recently was assigned what I think is the best homework assignment ever. I already love school, but my teacher took it to the next level. :) I get to 'create' my own country, including a name, laws, the population, government type, natural resources, and many other fun things. The best part? I can present it any way I choose! Of course, I chose a video, since I really enjoy film making. I am so excited to get started! I still haven't chosen a name for my country, though.
I never know what to talk about in fashion posts (I almost always resort to discussing the weather), and I thought it might be interesting to hear what you want me to talk about. I've heard a lot of people say that they like hearing about my life, so I'll try to do that more, but if there is anything else you'd like me to talk about, please don't hesitate to leave a comment and let me know. :)
- What I'm Wearing -
Dress, tights and belt // Forever 21
Oxfords // Birthday present
This week I have play rehearsal everyday except for Friday for the musical (Peter Pan) that I am in, and on Friday I am volunteering to do hair for Winnie the Pooh, another play that my local theater is performing this month.
What are your plans for the week? I'm also hoping to get out and enjoy the sun more, it is so refreshing!
xo Rachelle

DeleteI absolutely love the last photo! The way the sun is hitting your face makes it look like the light is coming out of the book itself! Lovely post :) xx Erin
ReplyDeleteThanks, Erin! The light actually was hitting the book and reflecting on my face. My own little portable reflector. ;)
DeleteYou are so pretty! And I love your outfit!
ReplyDeleteOmg, we had to create a country, it was SO funny so countries teamed up with others and we would have an hour a day to work on it!
It was probably one of my things of the year! Hope you enjoy creating a country :D
Ruby xoxo
Aw, thank you, Ruby! You yourself are so beautiful.
DeleteThat is so cool that you did the same assignment! I have a feeling it will be my favorite part of the year, too. :)

DeleteOHHHH! So that's why it wasn't there lol. Yeah xD Forever 21 gets rid of their old inventory every 21 days so it definitely wouldn't be there anymore lol. Well, it's super adorable on you! {I also love the tights and the shoes! Your outfit is actually the first outfit I've seen that I liked colored tights in}

DeleteI just use Photoshop to design it (I downloaded the font from dafont.com) and image-maps.com to turn it into an image map. Thanks! :)

They're even on sale right now! :) However, if you want to get the color that I have, you might have to look for them in stores because online they only have size 5. Hope you find what you're looking for, thanks for asking! :)
