It's places like Rattlesnake Ridge (or any given mountaintop) that put me in an overwhelming state of awe and humbleness over Jesus. The initial wonder that strikes me at the top is of the magnificent view and mountains - but then I am reminded of how God reigns above them all. It's just too much for a human to fathom.
What a wonderful Savior!
This is so beautiful, Rachelle!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Arushee! The view was unreal.
DeleteOh my goodness; these are beautiful beyond words, Rachelle!

Indeed it does! It is by far the best feeling.
DeleteOh! These photos are beautiful. Standing in silence up among the mountains is one of the best gifts the Lord has given.

Why thank you, Juli! Oh I know, older siblings are great for adventures. ;)
Deleteoh my word. you live in and visit such beautiful places. it's been over ten years since i've been to the mountains. i can hardly remember it and i for sure wasn't hiking them. you make me want to rush over to the nearest range and spend the rest of my life there. such beautifully magical photos.
ReplyDeleteOh wow. This is breathtakingly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI think nature in general reminds me of something heavenly. I look at the world and sometimes think, how can there be nothing after we die. We live in a place that so, so beautiful it can't be all that there is.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing this post, my first thought was "Man, that looks familiar... That looks like.. Washington!" Of course I then read your about me, where I discovered you are also a Washingtonian :D
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to meet another Washingtonian!
